GTBank’s annual Food & Drink Fair
The foremost modern day bank GTBank which also On 26 July 2007 GTBank which also is the first sub-Saharan bank and first Nigerian joint stock company to be listed on London stock exchange and Deutsche Borse is on the news again with its 2nd edition annual food and drink fair. The GTBank food and drink fair is a 2 day event that is schedule to kick off on Sunday the 30th of April and Monday the 1st of May, 2017, at Plot 1, Water Corporation drive, Oniru, Victoria-Island, Lagos on the 30th of April and 1st of May, 2017. And the attendance is free.
The GTBank food and drink is an annual food exhibition and sales events that presents a common ground for all businesses in the food industry section. It provides a platform for networking among food vendors and the public. The exhibition carries a wide variety of food exhibitor in one canopy showcasing the beauty of a vast range of food products ranging fromfresh organic groceries to dry foods, confectionary and pastries, ready to eat consumables, top quality crockery and wine & champagnes. It also will give opportunity for a culinary experiences such as food and wine tastings, cooking master classes with renowned international and local chefs, outdoor grills and thrilling entertainment.
It’s still more exciting that the GTBank food and drink second edition will be on workers day holiday therefore it’s expected that the 2017 event will be mind-blowing and a more exciting than the previous one of 2016, for it will offer a greater visibility and network for brands, small business for business in the food circle and greater excitement to guest as they will have the avenue to discover new trends, brands, products and innovation in the food and nutrition industry.
According to the bank “the 2-day event will treat attendees to enthralling gastronomic tours across a wide variety of exciting cuisines and delicacies while offering small businesses in the Nigerian food industry a free and vibrant platform to connect with a wider segment of their target markets as well as experts in their business fields. The GTBank Food and Drink Fair was created as part of the bank’s efforts to empower small businesses. The 2016 debut of the consumer-focused event had over 90 exhibitors from the food sector and attracted over 25,000 guests over the 2-day period. (GTBank 2017)
Commenting on the initiative, the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank, Mr. Segun Agbaje said: “This year, we are raising the bar on the scope and features of the event to deliver an exquisite experience of Nigeria’s diverse culinary mosaic to our customers, the general public and food enthusiasts from around the world.”
